Why Tukatuu Was Founded
Tukatuu started in Kathmandu with a simple, powerful observation: while global conglomerates centralized retail in massive, distant warehouses, the vibrant local stores, vegetable sellers, and neighborhood pharmacies that form the backbone of our community were being left behind.
At the same time, busy residents of Kathmandu needed groceries, hot foods, and medicine delivered immediately.
We set out to build a platform that solves both problems. Through a high-speed, localized logistics engine, Tukatuu brings whatever you need to your doorstep in 15 minutes flat, while ensuring that every single rupee spent goes straight back into supporting neighborhood shop owners and active community riders.
